In wanting to know Christ, Paul wanted to have fellowship with His suffering and the power of His resurrection (Phil 3.10). The two, are needed to truly know the Messiah. Today, I met a young man willing to suffer and know the reviving power of God. Jim Ibarra. A young man familiar with pain, yet still passionate about the things of the King.
In Jim, today I found the one I believe I have prayed for. A person who shares God’s vision for Cyberjaya. Someone as nuts as I am about the field of souls over there. Finally. Oh, God, finally.
The Word says the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable (Rom 11.29). And He is slowly and surely re-igniting the call and passion in my deepest being. He is drawing me out of my dysfunctionality and hopelessness and blowing new wind into my sails. Moving me ever closer to the Place Where His Heart Is; taking me to the Treasure in the Field where I once sold all; further into grace and Divine dependency.
