I breathe in the scent and I drift, drift, drift, to sleep.
Last Monday, I dreamt that my client’s chairman rejected his Chinese New Year newspaper inserts ads because he didn’t like it and told someone in our agency to put it on hoid. I told the agency person in my dream about it… and he said the artwork couldn’t be rejected because it had already been approved. We laughed it off - nervously.
Then, yesterday morning, true to my short dream, minutes before the produced inserts were passed to the press, the chairman said he didn’t like the stuff and my agency guy was told to cancel. We spent the rest of the day joking that I should be actually paid to SLEEP and write my dreams down! Even someone from the client’s side felt it was all too freaky. A prophetic dream about my work? Or just way too paranoid?
Last night, pr Nick introduced me to his friend of 30 years - Irvin Rutherford. Irvin is related to Bert Waggoner - the leader of association of vineyard churches, USA. Bert’s son, Reagan Waggoner, (Irvin’s son-in-law) heads up Vineyard Music. After sharing with Irvin about my journey with the Vineyard, he suggested a time of equipping and building relationships in Bert’s church in Sugarland, Texas. IF I do go, it’ll probably be 2008. It’s a wonderful opportunity to go deeper into the things of God, planting, worship, and to be sent out by a Vineyard to KL. It is cool how God orchestrates stuff behind our backs.
